Our guardian home program is designed for families who want something deeper than simply bringing home a puppy.

This is an opportunity to raise one of our breeding dogs as your own, while playing an important role in our program and the future of thoughtfully bred German Shepherds.

What Is a Guardian Home?

A guardian home is a carefully selected family that raises one of our breeding dogs in their home as part of their everyday life.

The dog lives with you, bonds with your family, and becomes fully integrated into your routine just like any other companion.

While the dog is part of our breeding program for a period of time, we remain closely connected and involved throughout the process.

Once their breeding career is complete, full ownership is transferred to you.

Why We Offer This Program

We are not a volume breeder, and we never will be.

Our focus is on raising dogs in real environments, with real families, where they can develop the temperament, confidence, and stability that matters long term.

The guardian program allows us to:

What We’re Looking For

Guardian homes are not first come, first accepted.

We are selective because the success of the dog and the experience for your family both matter.

Ideal guardian homes:

Are located in Alberta preferably within a reasonable distance of Drumheller
Have a stable home environment
Are committed to training, structure, and consistency
Value communication and a long term relationship
Understand this is a shared responsibility, not full independence

Experience with dogs is helpful but not required. The right mindset matters more.
